Biography -

Emmanuel Dumbuya is a distinguished educational scholar, curriculum specialist, and author with over a decade of experience in the Sierra Leonean educational ecosystem. He currently holds a dual academic appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone and Head of Department for Social and Cultural Studies at Njala University's University Experimental Secondary School.

Mr. Dumbuya holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education (Curriculum Development) from Njala University, where his thesis examined female students' participation in tertiary institutions in Sierra Leone. He also earned a Master of Education in Curriculum Development and a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies (History) from Njala University and Eastern Polytechnic (now Eastern Technical University), respectively.

As a prolific voice in African education, he has authored over 100 titles across global platforms including Amazon, SSRN, Policy Commons, and Right for Education. He is the visionary inventor of the ODUMZ Framework, a pioneering Pan-African curriculum innovation model designed to anchor modern education in equity, cultural relevance, and future-readiness. His professional footprint spans curriculum engineering, inclusive pedagogy, teacher training, and emerging thought leadership in artificial intelligence within African education.

His commitment to excellence has earned him prestigious accolades, including the Overall Best Author of the Year (2025) by Right for Education Africa and the All-Round Top Fellow award from Teach for Sierra Leone. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for multiple international peer-reviewed journals and remains active in global research networks, advocating for a humane, context-responsive approach to African educational reform.
