9. APC Payments and Refund Policy
- APCs become payable only after manuscript acceptance
- Payments must be completed within the stipulated timeframe
Refund Policy:
- No refunds are issued after final proof approval or acceptance
- Manuscripts withdrawn before peer review may qualify for partial refunds, minus administrative charges
- Once published and APC payment is completed, refunds are not permitted under any circumstances
10. Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
- Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing from the author's registered email address
- All requests are subject to editorial review and approval
- Withdrawals after peer review or acceptance may incur processing charges
Once an article is published and APCs are fully paid:
- Withdrawal and refunds are not allowed
- The article becomes part of the permanent scholarly record
Unethical withdrawal practices—such as duplicate submissions, unjustified withdrawals after acceptance, or systematic misuse—may result in:
- Manuscript rejection
- Retraction of current submissions
- Author blacklisting
- Permanent submission restrictions
11. Author Responsibilities
Authors are expected to:
- Respond to editorial queries, proofs, and invoices within 7 calendar days
- Review and approve final proofs before publication
- Ensure timely APC payment
- Maintain professional and respectful communication
Failure to comply may result in:
- Publication delays
- Cancellation of accepted articles
- Retractions
- Rejection of future submissions
12. Publication Ethics and Retraction Policy
Researchpubx follows a zero-tolerance policy toward ethical misconduct.
Unacceptable Practices Include:
- Plagiarism (including self-plagiarism and duplicate submission)
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Image or results manipulation
- Authorship misconduct
- Citation manipulation or metric gaming
Investigation Process:
All allegations are formally reviewed by the editorial team. Authors may be required to provide explanations or supporting documentation.
Consequences of Violations:
- Formal article retraction with public notice
- Removal from indexing databases
- Notification of affiliated institutions
- Submission bans
