Dr. Rahim Zahedi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Energy Governance at the University of Tehran, Iran. He earned his PhD in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Tehran and is currently pursuing postdoctoral research in thermal energy storage at Iran University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on renewable energy, energy modeling, life cycle assessment, sustainable energy systems, and energy-environment nexus. He has authored more than 130 international publications and has been recognized among Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the 2024 Alborz Prize (Iranian Nobel Prize) and the JTACC-V4 Young Scientist Award.
