Disaster Management and Humanitarian Studies

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research related to disaster-risk reduction, emergency management systems, humanitarian response, climate resilience, crisis governance, and sustainable recovery strategies. Contributions examining natural disasters, public safety systems, environmental hazards, emergency healthcare coordination, social resilience, and disaster-preparedness frameworks are highly encouraged. Studies integrating disaster sciences with engineering systems, communication technologies, environmental analytics, governance, and social development are strongly valued. Future directions include intelligent disaster-prediction systems, AI-assisted emergency analytics, resilient infrastructure planning, climate-adaptive humanitarian frameworks, digital crisis-management ecosystems, and integrated disaster-response technologies designed to improve global resilience and sustainable recovery.

The journal further supports studies involving humanitarian logistics, disaster communication systems, risk assessment methodologies, community resilience planning, emergency policy systems, and post-disaster rehabilitation strategies. Contributions integrating disaster-management research with geospatial analytics, artificial intelligence, healthcare systems, environmental monitoring, and public administration are highly encouraged. Emerging future directions include autonomous emergency-response platforms, real-time disaster surveillance systems, predictive risk-modeling technologies, smart humanitarian coordination infrastructures, adaptive recovery-management systems, and interdisciplinary resilience frameworks designed to strengthen disaster preparedness, public safety, humanitarian support, and sustainable development across vulnerable global communities.
