Dr. Touqeer Ahmed Jumani is an accomplished researcher and academician currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at A’Sharqiyah University, Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), completed in 2020.

His research expertise includes smart grid technologies, power system optimization, renewable energy integration, electric vehicle applications, microgrid control, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational intelligence-based solutions for modern energy systems. His research focuses on developing innovative and sustainable approaches to address emerging challenges in power and energy systems.

Dr. Jumani has published more than 70 research articles in international journals and conferences and has received more than 2,200 academic citations. He has contributed to funded research projects in renewable energy and intelligent power system applications.

He actively contributes to the international research community through journal editorial activities, peer-review services, guest editorship, and research collaborations. He has served as a Guest Editor and reviewer for international journals.

His research vision focuses on bridging artificial intelligence and sustainable energy technologies to develop resilient, efficient, and future-ready power systems.
