Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Our Commitment to Quality and Research Integrity

At Researchpubx, peer review serves as the foundation of scholarly publishing. Every manuscript undergoes a rigorous and independent evaluation process designed to ensure scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and academic relevance.

Our peer review system helps authors strengthen their research through constructive expert feedback while maintaining the integrity and credibility of the scholarly record.

We are committed to providing a review process that is fair, transparent, timely, and focused on supporting high-quality research across diverse academic disciplines.

Our Peer Review Model

Researchpubx follows a Single-Anonymized Peer Review model.

Under this approach:

  • Reviewers know the identities of the authors.
  • Authors do not know the identities of reviewers.
  • Independent experts evaluate manuscripts objectively.
  • Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit.

This model encourages honest and constructive feedback while maintaining reviewer confidentiality and protecting the integrity of the evaluation process.

Editorial and Peer Review Workflow

Step 1: Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the Researchpubx online submission system.

Upon submission, manuscripts receive a unique tracking identification number for monitoring throughout the editorial process.

Step 2: Initial Editorial Assessment

Before peer review begins, the editorial office conducts a preliminary evaluation to verify:

  • Alignment with the journal's aims and scope
  • Compliance with author guidelines
  • Completeness of submission files
  • Ethical declarations and approvals
  • Conflict of interest disclosures
  • Funding information
  • Basic language and formatting requirements

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned to authors for correction or declined prior to peer review.

Step 3: Similarity and Integrity Screening

All submissions undergo originality screening using plagiarism detection tools and editorial evaluation.

The screening process helps identify:

  • Plagiarism
  • Duplicate publication
  • Excessive text overlap
  • Improper citation practices
  • Potential ethical concerns

Manuscripts failing to meet Researchpubx integrity standards may be rejected before external review.

Step 4: Assignment to an Academic Editor

Eligible manuscripts are assigned to an Editor or Handling Editor with expertise relevant to the subject area.

The assigned editor oversees:

  • Reviewer selection
  • Review quality
  • Editorial communication
  • Ethical compliance
  • Final recommendations

Step 5: Reviewer Selection

Researchpubx selects independent reviewers based on:

  • Subject-matter expertise
  • Research experience
  • Publication record
  • Professional qualifications
  • Absence of conflicts of interest

Typically, each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Additional reviewers may be invited for interdisciplinary or highly specialized submissions.

Step 6: External Peer Review

Reviewers assess the manuscript according to several key criteria:

  • Originality and Novelty: Does the research provide meaningful new knowledge or insights?
  • Scientific and Methodological Quality: Are the study design, methods, analyses, and reporting appropriate and reliable?
  • Significance and Relevance: Does the work contribute to the advancement of its academic field?
  • Ethical Compliance: Have ethical standards and regulatory requirements been met?
  • Presentation and Clarity: Is the manuscript clearly written, logically organized, and adequately supported by figures, tables, and references?

Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations to support editorial decision-making and manuscript improvement.

Editorial Decisions

Following peer review, the editor carefully evaluates reviewer comments and may issue one of the following decisions:

  • Accept: The manuscript is suitable for publication with minimal or no further changes.
  • Minor Revision: Small revisions are required before acceptance.
  • Major Revision: Substantial revisions are required, and the revised manuscript may undergo additional review.
  • Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal's scientific, ethical, or editorial standards.

Authors receive reviewer comments and editorial feedback to help guide any necessary revisions.

Revision and Resubmission

Authors submitting revised manuscripts should:

  • Address all reviewer comments carefully.
  • Provide a detailed response letter.
  • Clearly identify modifications made to the manuscript.
  • Explain any suggestions that could not be implemented.

Revised submissions may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

Final Acceptance and Production

Once a manuscript satisfies all scientific, ethical, and editorial requirements, it is formally accepted for publication.

The article then proceeds through:

  • Copyediting
  • Typesetting
  • Proof preparation
  • Author proof review
  • Final publication

Expected Review Timeline

While review times may vary depending on subject area and reviewer availability, Researchpubx strives to maintain an efficient editorial process:

  • Initial Editorial Assessment: 2-5 Days
  • External Peer Review: 3-5 Weeks
  • Revision Process: Varies by Author
  • Final Editorial Decision: 1-2 Weeks
  • Publication after Acceptance: 1-2 Weeks

Researchpubx is committed to timely communication and keeping authors informed throughout the review process.

Ethical Standards during Review

Researchpubx expects all participants in the review process to maintain:

  • Confidentiality
  • Professionalism
  • Objectivity
  • Transparency
  • Academic Integrity

Reviewers, editors, and authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and adhere to the ethical standards established by the journal and publisher.

Our Commitment to Authors

We strive to provide authors with fair assessments, constructive feedback, transparent editorial decisions, and a professional publishing experience that supports the global advancement of knowledge.
