Dr. El Mokhtar El Hafidi is a researcher affiliated with the Laboratory of Engineering Sciences for Energy (LabSIPE), National School of Applied Sciences (ENSAJ), Chouaib Doukkali University, El Jadida, Morocco. His research focuses on environmental engineering, renewable energy, wastewater treatment, desalination, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, advanced materials, and water resource management. He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, and scientific books. He also serves as a reviewer for various international journals published by leading scientific publishers. In addition to his academic activities, he has extensive professional experience in civil protection and disaster risk management, with particular interests in emergency response, crisis management, and firefighter training. His current research aims to develop sustainable technologies for water treatment and renewable energy applications while integrating innovative electrochemical techniques for environmental monitoring and materials characterization.
